Trip Details

Saigon - the 2nd biggest city in Vietnam surprises tourists with numerous motorbikes riding on the road. With approximately 5 millions motorbikes, the best way to explore Saigon is staying on the back of the scooters and searching for the hidden charms of this city.

After picking you up from your hotel at 08:00, we’ll take you back to the past by visiting the famous Jade Emperor Pagoda built by the very first Chinese community in Saigon more than 100 years ago, and an old apartment witnessing the last U.S helicopters fled in Vietnam since 1975 (at the end of Vietnam War). Then, we take you to an old-school shop-house style restaurant that remains exactly the same with the retro hand painted signs for the last 3 generations at least to try some traditional sweets. You’ll have a chance to enjoy a glass of Vietnamese Coffee aka Ice Coffee With Condensed Milk made in a very old way at a 70-year-old coffee shop nestled in a small alley. Next, we head to District 5 and take a walk through a local squat market. It is the best way to see the real local life in Vietnam. You can even have a chance to challenge yourself by using Vietnamese language to buy some beautiful flowers at the flower corner and get rewarded with a delight lunch at a Sizzling Cake Store - Vietnamese Pancake (in southern style). You’ll try some specialties such as ‘Bò Lá Lốt’ - grilled beef in Lot leaves, Nem Cuốn - Fresh spring rolls witch grilled pork, etc.

* If you are not fond of Banh xeo, we’ll opt for Crab Noodle Soup instead. The choice is yours.

After lunch, we continue to riding to the China Town - the biggest distribution center of Saigon through some criss-cross alleys and exploring a couple of roads that is famous for selling motorbike parts or textile materials. Make a quick stop at the famous Quan Am Pagoda and the big market that is well-known by locals as “Chợ Bình Tây” or “Chợ Lớn” - one of the biggest wholesale markets in the city.

Then, back to the city center to visit some beautiful landmarks of Saigon such as the Reunification Palace (view from outside), War Remnant Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral, and the Central Post Office nearby.

“Once in Saigon, do as Saigonese do”, ride with us and get a terrific memory of the lifetime!
